What is the best portable music stand for a student?
I am a music student, and I want to get a new music stand, preferably one that is foldable and portable. Which type is the best in terms of quality, portability, and ease of use?
I have a Hamilton folding music stand, and I love it. It’s easy to fold/unfold and put together (like really easy), and when you fold it it’s tiny and you can put it in this little black bag that has a shoulder strap. It’s also pretty sturdy and, well, holds music well. XD

what is the best way to get this music heard?

hey guys, so far the majority of people on Yahoo! answers as well as other places and personal friends enjoy my latest music (which used to suck but finally has reached some decency).
Now the question is: what genre or fanbase should I target? What kind of radio stations or online stream sites should I consider submitting this stuff to? Should I consider putting it up for download on iTunes or Amazon, or is it not quite up to par yet? what would you say?

I think you should start submitting it to your own music blogs (which, obviously, must garner some previous interests via interesting articles etc, so people value your posts will pay attention to your music), also, put it up on sites like last.fm, bandcamp, soundcloud..music social networking sites where a lot of people either hold an account there and/or are likely to frequent. I’d recommend you putting it out there before submitting it to itunes/amazon..and make sure to offer free download/previews of completed works so people are more encouraged to give it a listen first.
