How does one download music from a “Mac” to be put into a slide show?
A step by step “road map” on how to do it. I have music (that came with my computer in iphoto) but no music to download when I try to make a DVD slide show. I went to itunes but something about wanting a credit card. (Afraid to put my card on the net) I just need step by step instructions. I called Apple twice but they didn’t know how t do it. They sent me all over the place on this computer. How about the “geek squad”? (They charge 300 dollars for two hours) at this point I will do anything. (Within reason)
You need music in iTunes to use with a slideshow. If you have some music on a CD that you would like as music with your slideshow, import them to iTunes.
Create a playlist for them and add them from the library to the new playlist.
In iPhoto
Click the Music button to set one or more of the following options:
Select the “Play music during slideshow” checkbox if you want background music played during your slideshow.
Select a song from the Sample Music folder or your iTunes library to play during your slideshow. You can search for a song by typing the artist or title in the search field.
You can also create slideshows with music with iMovie and iDVD.
Look in their Help menu for more info on how to create slideshows.
One way to download from iTunes Store without using a CC would be to buy yourself an iTunes Gift Certificate or Gift Card and use that to purchase music from iTunes Store.
